In the sixties the plastic artists, fascinated by the historic environment and the architecture built there studios there. Since that time the bohemian spirit, manifested in the cafés, the music on the streets and the Tango places, makes it attractive for national and international tourists of all ages. In the nineties San Telmo is at the same time modern and antique, quiet and noisy.
