Through United Nations Avenue you can reach Tigre, where the modern train station “Ferrocarril Mitre” is located. Also you can find the “Estación Fluvial”, from which all the boats that travel around the islands leave. At the islands you can enjoy nautical and aquatic activities, guided visits and lunch or dinner at the rowing clubs, like Regatas club “La Marina”.
Entre los principales atractivos que ofrece el casco urbano se encuentran el Puerto de Frutos, con su colorida feria artesanal y locales de venta muebles hechos con madera y caña de la zona; el Mercado de Frutos, el Parque de la Costa, con juegos y entretenimientos para chicos y grandes; el denominado Circuito Cultural conformado, entre otros, por los museos Naval de la Nación y de la Reconquista y el Casino Trilenium con sus 44 mesas de ruleta y más de 1500 máquinas tragamonedas. Tigre is the starting point to enjoy the “Parana Delta” and the surrounding islands formed between the Sarmiento, San Antonio and Lujan Rivers and the Vinculacion Channel, all of them apt for navigation, fishing and nautical and aquatic sports.
