Information about Villa Ventana

Villa Ventana integrates with other localities, the Tourist Region of Sierra de la Ventana. It is located 550 km southwest of Buenos Aires, 100 km north of Bahia Blanca, 17 km from Sierra de la Ventana.

t is the highest town in the Province of Buenos Aires, 450 m above sea level and with a stable population of approximately 400 inhabitants.
It has the features of a mountain village with the particularity of being surrounded by higher hills of the Sierra de la Ventana and streams Belisario and Las Piedras.

This village is special for leisure, adventure and relaxation activities as horseback riding, mountain trekking, 4x4 trips, mountain biking, fly fishing for trout, visiting historic sites, farms, museums, crafts, etc..
The town has restaurants, bars, tea houses, craft shops, shopping, etc. Also, there are a beach and good accommodation.

In Villa Ventana takes place the celebration of 'Fiesta Provincial de la Golondrina' which is performed every year in January with shows, cultural and social activities for 2 days.
