This locality is on the southwest of the province of Córdoba, on route 5, to 7 km. of Villa General Belgrano. Its little population (only 600 habitants) causes on its visitors the feeling of great comfort and quietness, which adds itself to the characteristic landscape of the zone: valleys, rivers (forming ideal beaches to enjoy the day), mountain ranges and exuberant vegetation.
One of best tourist attractions is the main street, which formerly was part of the Camino de las Tropas, that united Córdoba with Río Cuarto. In 1929 the Troops of the Army constructed a bridge with the government of the Province and the collaboration of Combat engineers; which in August of 2004 was baptized as Puente San Ignacio de Loyola.
In order to make tourists feel more comfortable, in the last years there was generated an important growth of the construction of complexes of cabins, totally equipped.
In reference to the activities to do, the are strolls by the urban zone, that describe the history of the population, like thus cavalcades, long walks or practices of mountain bike, or the possibility of spending the day next to the river.
