Cuyo
Cuyo in the Indian language means "desert country" since the region occupies a large part of the Andes mountains and foothills. Its valleys, land and climate make it an ideal place for harvest grapes, one of the main attractions of the region, its importance and magnitude is formed a tourist route known as 'Wine Route'. Chilecito
Its foundation dates from 1715, by the master Sergeant Don Domingo Castro y Bazan. At present, the agricultural exploitation occupies its greater income, with the cultivations of wines, olives and nuts. It shows two heraldries. One dates from of the century 18/19 when was a very important shopping center. By its attraction, so many came since the other side of the mountain range that the town took the name of Chilecito. Is known like the Rioja capital of the tourism.

Malargüe
Malargüe, capital of the department of the same name, is in the southwest of the province of Mendoza. It is situated in a zone where there was pour of lava that contributed to the formation of the inhospitable Payún.
It has an area of irrigation and is found in a mining district of importance, since in the department of Malargüe petroleum in the basin is exploited of Llancanelo and uranium in the mine Huemul; this last one is processed locally in a plant.

Mendoza
Mendoza City is the capital of the province and it’s the most important and richest oasis of the country. It’s located at the bottom of the beginning of the Andes. It’s known for being a very clean city, with a lot of forest.
General San Martin started his trip with all the troops to free South America and still is a very strategic position because is very well connected with Santiago de Chile and the Pacific Ocean.

Penitentes
The base of The Penitents is found at 2.580 above sea level and the top to 3.194 mts. and it’s located at the edge of Las Cuevas River and the Santa María and Cruz de Caña streams. Rodeo

San Luis

San Rafael
San Rafael is the second city in importance of the province. Its origin is mended to Mendoza southern colonizing process that was initiated in the year 1805 with the historic parliament of the Diamond and the foundation of the fort of San Rafael.
Declared city in October 7 of 1922 and since its origins has always been characterized for its geography and its production. In this oasis is cultivated: corn, alfalfa, vine, olive, fruits (peach, pear, plum) and cows and sheep.
