Information about Potrerillos

This locality is located in the department of Luján of Cuyo, the area of the San Ignacio Farm, in the department of Las Heras.
The Carditas and Chacritas, along the Avenue De los Condores, name that receives in the initial section the Provincial Route 89, El Salto, separated of this last way, that can reach by a secondary road, Village El Refugio or El Salto Bajo, Las Vegas and Valle del Sol, along the route 89, Piedras Blancas a little more far away on this route, and finally, Access by a bypass since the route 89, the Vallecitos Ski Resort.
On the other side of the Mendoza river the San Ignacio Farm is located, united by a bridge.
Potrerillos is an old settlement of farms with agricultural production consolidated from the construction of the railroad at the end of the 19th century. The construction and paving of the route permitted the arrival of temporary population and the weekend houses construction, for which the center was being extended from the division into lots of rural lands for its residential use, in the most far away sectors of the main route.
