Mercedes constitutes the vestibule of access to the Provincial Reserve of the Iberá, a unique fitogeográfica conformation in the world worthy to be visited, and also the Mitre park where is an old "Sun Clock" and the mausoleo of Marcos Azcona. At 10Km. away from the city rises the altar in memory of the gaucho Antonio Gil, famous by his miracles.
