This town is located in the northeastern end of the República Argentina, in the proximities of the mouth of the Iguazú river, circumstance that motivated the development of an important tourist infrastructure since annually it is visited by million people attracted by the spectacle that offer the Iguazú Falls (declared Natural Patrimony of the Humanity by UNESCO), and also because its connection with Brazil. From the viewpoint where is the Hito Argentino it is possible to appreciate the encounter of the rivers Paraná and Iguazú.
The climate that presents Puerto Iguazú is another one of the attractiveness of this city, since it is subtropical humid without dry station, and its temperatures oscillate between 20º C and 33º C in summer, but with pleasant and temperings winters.
This city counts on the Hito Tres Fronteras, which is a point that indicates international limits of Argentina with Paraguay and Brazil.
