Information about Cerro Otto

Located at only 5 km. from Bariloche on the Pioneros Avenue you can find de Cerro Otto Cable railway. On the way to the top you can appreciate the deep lengas forests filled with typical houses. Also you can reach Piedras Blancas Resort, where you can ski at winter.
The road keeps going to the top, where you can enjoy the beautiful view of the Nahuel Huapí, Moreno and Gutierrez lakes, the Tronador and Catedral Hills, and the San Pedro and Llao Llao bays. You can also reach the top walking or with a bike, what would take approximately 2 hours.

Cerro Otto Cable railway.

The cable railway travels 2100 m. to the top and can transport 500 persons per hour at a 3 m/seg. speed. You can enjoy the trip totally protected from the weather thanks to the construction of the carts.
