Information about Humahuaca

The Quebrada of Humahuaca is the natural road to the North, to the Puna. The route skirts the course of the Rio Grande and as the height increases we see the quiet populations which resist the passing of time with their stone and mud walls. The bell tower of some XVII century church stands out among the coloured mountains; in the squares the locals show off their handcrafts. The colours, the silence and those small streets that end at the base of the hills make us feel as if we were in some sort of magical world.
